When you connect your own Stripe account, your clients can pay your invoices online and the money goes to your bank account.
Connect Stripe
- Go to More > Payments (Stripe). Or, on any unpaid invoice, tap Set up online payments.
- Tap Connect with Stripe and complete Stripe's steps. Stripe asks for your business, bank and identity details.
- When you come back, tap Refresh status. Once Accept card & bank payments shows Ready, you can send invoices with a Pay button.
If Stripe needs anything else, it's listed under Stripe still needs. Tap Continue onboarding to finish.
Fees. The Payments screen shows the platform fee StallWise charges on each online payment. Stripe's own processing fees apply too.
Payouts. Stripe pays out to the bank account you added during setup. When Payouts to your bank shows Ready, payouts are on. To see payouts or change your payout schedule, tap Open Stripe dashboard.
What your clients see. When you tap Send with Stripe on an invoice, Stripe emails your client a secure invoice with a Pay button. The invoice also shows a Pay invoice button in the client's portal. You can also Copy link on the invoice and send the payment page yourself.
When a client pays, StallWise records the payment as Paid online via Stripe, updates the invoice balance and shows the payment under More > Financial > Payments. If you refund a payment in full from your Stripe dashboard, StallWise removes the payment and the invoice shows the balance as due again.
Recording cash, checks and transfers
- Open the invoice and tap Record Payment, or go to More > Financial > Payments and tap +.
- Enter the amount, Payment Method, Payment Date and, if you like, a Reference Number such as a check number.
- Tap Record Payment.
A payment can't be more than the balance due. The invoice changes to partly paid or paid automatically.
