Talk the way you would to a coworker ("Rio was off his feed, temp 101.2, gave a gram of bute") and StallWise drafts the records.
Dictate a note 1. Open More > Facility Management > Barn/Horse Notes and tap the mic button. You can also tap Dictate a note on a horse's profile, or add the Barn/Horse Note quick action to your dashboard. 2. Pick a horse if the note is about one. Leave it blank for a barn note, or name the horses as you talk. 3. On iPhone, use the dictation key on your keyboard. In a web browser, tap the mic. Dictation works in Chrome, Edge and Safari. 4. Tap Save and structure with AI, or Save as plain note to keep just the text.
Review the draft The AI writes a summary and a SOAP note, and proposes records such as health records, vital signs, medications, farrier visits, tasks, maintenance, expenses, charges to bill, inventory and schedule items. Each one is marked Stated, Likely or Inferred.
Switch off anything you don't want and fix any value. Then tap Confirm and save. Only then are the records filed. Each record shows which note it came from.
Monthly AI allowance Each barn has a monthly AI budget, shared by everyone who works there, and its size depends on your plan. The notes list shows it as AI this month. If the budget runs out, notes still save as text and structuring starts again next month.
Privacy StallWise never receives audio. Dictation happens on your phone or in your browser, and only the text reaches us. When you choose to structure a note, the text and the names on your rosters (horses, stalls, staff, clients and so on) go to our AI provider, Anthropic, so the note can be matched to your records. Anthropic does not use this data to train its models.
Barn owners create notes. Staff with the standard Barn Staff login can read notes but not add them.
